Brown is the color of luxury. Chocolate brown is the color that melts in your mouth and envelops your taste buds. Luxury. Brown is the color of the leather that softly caresses your bottom as you sit in your luxurious car. Brown is the color of the mahogany shift knob as you deftly move it from third to second as your brown suede Rockport shoe grazes the throttle pedal before firmly pushing it down as you rev-match downshift and then initiate a lovely powerslide while your girlfriend in the passenger seat poops herself a little bit.
Brown.
Oppo, show me some pretty dark brown interiors.
Interestingly, this is much the color scheme and distribution of color I’m thinking of doing in the Miata. Hmmm...

You have luxurious poopy. Mine is green when I eat taco bell

Mine is liquid when I eat Taco Bell.

What can Brown do for you, Jake? WHAT CAN IT DO?

All this black shit makes the interior look cheap. The console, steering wheel, and upper dash should be brown. Same with tan/beige interiors; the contrasting trim should be brown, not black.

I see a new car full of plastic crap.

If you sit in this seat, you are officially sticking it in the brown

So this is luxurious? Sweet. Actually, it is very comfortable though.

Honestly any non-luxury car made in the last 5 years well surpasses what I would have considered luxury 10 years ago.

Gladly.

Amusingly, when that car was made an all-plastic interior would have been seen as futuristic and amazingly nice.

I don’t know, but it sure would be nice if it would deliver my packages on time for once.

Noble Brown in the new RX.

you win. You win all of the things. Those are stellar choices. The color in the lexus is perfect and the way it is used is just the right amount as well.

My fiance really wants the Kona Brown interior on the Escalade. As a bonus it comes with the open pore wood that looks WAAAAAAY better than the gloss wood in the regular Black Leather that looks like it came straight out of the late 90s Lincoln Navigator my family had when I was in high school

Open pore wood? So no glossy laminate? That sounds awesome

Yeah, but I can’t imagine how the post 1969 interior could have looked better to them, I think it was just cheaper.
Beautiful:

Cadillac uses all real materials in its entire lineup. If it looks like wood or leather, it is.

You had me at “and then initiate a lovely powerslide while your girlfriend in the passenger seat poops herself a little bit. Brown.”

In a day when you can get a new Civic with leather, navigation, heated seats, dual zone climate control...

This is false.
White is the true colour of luxury.
Brown is a close second.
